Problem Encountered: Slow till.
Define the problem: The old till that was brought from a different company became really slow after we did the upgrade to Fusion. It was said whenever they punch anything in, it takes time to respond. Also, the cash drawer won’t open. It prints receipt but doesn’t open the drawer.
Cause of the problem: Memory doesn’t meet minimum hardware requirements.
Solution for the problem:
– Disable services “Windows Cardspace”
– Log Me In -ran chkdsk-good
– Check on fragmentation
– Check on RAM and till is running on only 1GB of RAM
Take note the minimum requirements of Fusion is 2GB. Add extra RAM to fix issue.
